  James Allen resigned from the LAPD and dropped off the face of the planet. He was convicted of child molestation in the State of Utah in 1935 and sentenced to life in prison.

  Detective Dan Bannon and Wolf published their book, When Hollywood Died, The True Story of The Hollywood Murders. It was also a New York Times best seller.

  Patty Albright was charged and found guilty by reason of insanity in all five of The Hollywood Murders. She lived the remaining years of her life as Tammy Albright at the California Institution For The Criminally Insane. She passed away in 1972 from natural causes. She was 84 years old.
